I have not checked this out...but I find 9.95 somewhat cheap compared to everything else outthere, ppc, adwords, etc in getting first in what you want...just seems not quite right

I am not sure what you mean by "not quite right". Could you please explain.
If you are worried about it being a scam, it is not. This is a very reputable company with strong financial backing. They are in the black. They started this company because they saw a need. With today's technology, people can Google you from anywhere including their phone. They wanted to provide a way to be found and control what was found. I don't know the technology behind how they do it. I am sure it has something to do with SEO.
You can Google the founders, Andy Greider and Charles Fellingham, and read their bios and even contact them.
I hope this helps. If not let, me know.

Its not organic results.
Its nothing more than a managed Pay Per click for non-competitive and obscure search terms (like "Bob Caine").
Its total crap - and only a complete idiot would pay that much money for ONE term, when that cost can pay for an entire years worth of hosting for their own website that would rank for THAT obscure term, and a whole dictionary worth of others.Last edited by Malok; 02-15-2008 at 06:52 PM.

I'm glad you brought that up Malok because after reading this post, I was pretty sure it had to do with PPC. There is absolutely no way you can get to the top of the search engines from an organic standpoint in 24 hours unless the keyword phrase is super long-tail. And even in that case it would be tough to get to the top of the SERPs in a day.
Plus for only $9.95? Too many red flags were raised when I read this.

Being ranked well on Yahoo is good, but to make it to Google is really what matters.

Absolutely, and to comment on that marketing tool, at first glance it was way too cheap for what it claimed to do, but then after seeing exactly what it does do, it's pretty worthless and actually too expensive. I would not want to purchase it but maybe some people could find it useful.

Go straight to the source. Learn about being a web master. Directorys, Social Bookmarks, Inbound Linking Read there web masters section. Its hard work and you have to build the sites right but thats better than what I saw.

Beside, there are tricks out there to get your site to be #1 on Y or G indirectly with some 'doFollow' thread, ad, or other mean...and free since you are the person posting the ad or post...
This is targeted for a specific keywords/keyphrase though.
