Yahoo is still somewhat of a mystery to me as well. I rank EXTREMELY well in Google for several hundred keywords but Yahoo only ranks me in the top 3 for a handful... somewhat frustrating.

Build quality content first and foremost, make your website user and SE friendly, using text links instead of java script, make it neat and make it with structure, yahoo does particularly like rss feeds from site, so if you can include an rss feed for your site which you can update
