How to optimize website for yahoo search?

have tried many methods suggested by many seo professionals to optimize my website for yahoo. The more i implement SEO for yahoo the more it is getting optimized for google but i am not getting traffic from yahoo search. I am very much interested to find a best method for optimizing website for yahoo search and would like to let that known for every body. If you have some thing of this kind please let that known to me. Thank you.

Yahoo seems to deal more with onpage SEO so make sure yours is up to par! Also, seo bookmarks from yahoo can work really well.

What exactly are the yahoo bookmarks? Have heard of bookmarks quite a bit for seo purposes but can't really seem to get my head around it and how it would help. Could you explain briefly how it would help bring organic rankings up for a site? Or perhaps a reference? I've literally been stumped for ages on this haha.
