Default Like Button on Facebook +1Button in Google

if im not mistaken Facebook is powered by Yahoo, and whose is Yahoo's best competitor? Google!

Recently Google launch the +1 button competing the Like button on Facebook. What's your view on this? Reactions on the +1Button?

I haven't seen this button yet, but i think why not to have it as this is an excellent chance to show that you like it.

I am not aware that Facebook is powered by Yahoo. I believe that Google wants to build partnership with Facebook but as of +button, I haven't seen it.

Well i have very sure about this that facebook is not in any case powered by Yahoo... Facebook and Yahoo are two very different companies by different owners and didnt have any contract in between...

and as far as Google +1 is concern till today i consider this as a good boomarking tool it is very different to the tweet or facebook like button...

Facebook is not powered by Yahoo, but Google has launched +1 button, inspite of Facebook like button.

Just seems like Google is trying to overcome the social media area as well with their new +1 campaign their pushing right now...they probably have quite a bit of pull considering they are broadcasting it right next to every link in their search results. Have heard mixed ideas/feeling on it already from a quite a few different people.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out, I've been hearing mixed reviews about Google+ as everyone is fixated on Facebook -- the difference between the two is not MAJOR either, we'll see what happens!
