    Default Yahoo! Answers

Has anyone tried using Yahoo Answers to promote their website? I have been answering questions about aquarium fish keeping and so far I have been getting 30 - 60 extra visitors a month from Yahoo Answers.

Yahoo Answers is great not yahoo answers in general but every QnA site sent some quality visitors to the website that can possibly bring conversions depending on how quality your answers are...

I have tried to do, but I didn't get any result as this tool is not for site promotion. It was designed exactly for questions and answers.

Yahoo! Answer is great for many useful information. On the other hand, the process of building your account is very slow. 250 points for level 2 is really much I think.

Hello Sandra! sorry to bug you but honestly if Yahoo Answers is not working for you simply because you are not using it correctly and this is normal with forums and QnA websites...

Yahoo answers are bit tricky so let me give you some actionable tips that will help you producing traffic and links.

Ok, so keep it clear that traffic is some thing different and links are different...

There are levels in yahoo answers at level one you should focus on giving quality answers in your niche instead of dropping your URL or Promoting your company... also try to get some best answers...

ween level one will be crossed people will started to like you and allow you to drop links (not too many) drop links that are non commercial (your blog pages are usually non commercials...)

and by the time as soon as you move up in levelz traffic and link value will be increased in a direct proportion!

Yahoo answer is very helpful to me personally. It gives me answers to my questions. I just only use it for personal but I believe you can get traffic from this tool.
