I agree. For Yahoo/Bing, start with creating "quality" backlinks, especially those in industry related spheres, then once you start getting placement make sure your content is good...do not keyword stuff, it does more harm then good. Pick 1-3 long tail phrases (I.e. "Upscale Waterfront Condos in Seattle WA") and wait for results. The more specific the long tail is, the better quality lead you should get (in theory) because the searcher has a specific idea of what they want (vs. "Homes in Seattle").
