Yes, but it's not so different - the particulars aren't important. Look at Google, go for Google. Yahoo will happen on it's own when you're pursuing the big guy.

yahoo is the best browser which contains all types of information. for yahoo optimization there are some tools required such as yahoo site explorer, yahoo keyword, yahoo advance and universal search, videos and images. really all these are beneficial to yahoo optimization.

Search engine optimization local business starts with your business address geographical optimization. In SEO lab, where he was considered a new algorithm for Yahoo, it appears that Yahoo gives more weight compared to Google, the page that displays multiple keywords.

From what I can tell it is. But I think if you can get ranked in Yahoo you can get ranked in Google. I think it just takes more links to your site to do so.

Very nice question infect we were discussing this with one of my industry friend couple of days ago and i figure out that stating that yes it is different will be a false statement as both have the same intention to provide the best quality results as soon as possible for a requested query!
but yes this is the ground fact that Yahoo and Google do have slightly different ways to figure out the importance of the website for example Google focus more on links where as yahoo consider the content of the page and relevancy to the keyword is more important. (just an example)
