Yes, but it's not so different - the particulars aren't important. Look at Google, go for Google. Yahoo will happen on it's own when you're pursuing the big guy.

Don't need to to special optimization for yahoo. You will not get good traffic from yahoo until you start social bookmarking.

yahoo is the best browser which contains all types of information. for yahoo optimization there are some tools required such as yahoo site explorer, yahoo keyword, yahoo advance and universal search, videos and images. really all these are beneficial to yahoo optimization.

Its mostly same accept backlinks.Google Go for Dofollow links and Yahoo go for all typoe of links whether do or no follow.Yahoo tips regarding classification is more concerned about on page SEO for Google.

From what I can tell it is. But I think if you can get ranked in Yahoo you can get ranked in Google. I think it just takes more links to your site to do so.
