What's important for Yahoo? How can I get into top rankings on Yahoo?

The thing about Yahoo is that it's algorithms work completely different than Google. I personally work on improving placement on Google and the rest will follow. The reason i recommend Google is because they dominate the market and are always investiing time, development and money into their algorithms out witting the people trying to use specific techniques.

I would say that you should just focus on making your website user friendly, well structured and easy to navigate.

The rest will follow good web content.

Make some research on yahoo, google have different algorithm, we don't really what it is. I top yahoo before during my school project, same with Google they crawl more relevant websites with the keyword use.
However, its not enough, study, try to discover yahoo's hidden secret.

Yahoo is similar to Google in that they judge on site SEO the same. Things such as title/meta tags are important and on page content. Yahoo differs from Google in the way they judge back links. I personally think having a link in their directory is huge for ranking in Yahoo!

for yahoo top ranking it depend on the domain name first.If your targeted keyword is your domain name then you always top ranking in yahoo...

They each value on page things differently so its hard to optimize well for both. Don't worry so much about yahoo and concentrate on google

Start by creating a very reliable Title, Keywords, and good description for your website. Add your website to the yahoo directory if you can afford the $300 cost.
