Yahoo Directory submission advice!

Being included in the Yahoo! paid directory does pay off. Just make sure that your contact us info and whois info is the way you want your title to be

Very interesting for us on being included in the yahoo directory. We were no where to be found in yahoo for our main keyword term. We did the paid yahoo directory listing, and immediatlely jumped to #18. A few days later we actually moved up to #13. But alas, last week we dropped all the way to #30. Very frustrating. Back to the drawing board

There is no real correlation between being in the directory and the Yahoo! SERPS.

Now I say that with a caution that a listing in the Yahoo! Directory is extremely valuable and should not be ignored for a multitude of reasons as Mike suggested.

Your site will need further optimization to rank higher, but it sounds like you are headed in the right direction. Being in the top 50 in a market as competitive as you are in is an accomplishment in itself.

You can't lean on just one source and expect that you would sort all things in your life.

Yahoo directory submission is same as other directory site. It helps your site to be index in yahoo search engine by just fill outing the form.Just make sure you have keywords that has low competing and with commercial value.

You still need proper Search Engine Optimization for your websites. Good keywords and relevance is one of the factors that affect indexing and Serps

There is bo use that u submit in yahoo directory and your site goes up .Unless your site do proper seo and link building

Submission to Yahoo directory helps a lot. I've submitted my blog to yahoo and I see the result. After optimizing it well, I see that it ranks good on yahoo and definitely helps with google ranking.
