Yahoo Answers, A Joke?!
Yahoo answers is becoming more of a joke. Check out the links here:
I don't think it is worth participating in them anymore.

My girlfriend and I have this joke:
Every time some no-it-all chimes into one of our conversations to give us asinine advice, we say, "You should post that on Yahoo Answers".
Yahoo Answers is absolutely useless. God forbid you actually need a legitimate answer to a legitimate question!

y answers
I am sure you can pulled from traffic from Y answers. I also think that if you place enough link in the resource box your site move up in the ranking with yahoo search. For example I was at 15 with google and about the same for Y. Then I started to answer questions on Y and soon I was #1 there, and since I stopped for about 1 month I am back down to #2. I am still at #5 for google and thanks with a ton of work and effort.

I would have to agree. While I still think Yahoo Answers is a valid resource, it seems that more and more people are giving meaningless answers that provide no help whatsoever. I guess it all has to do with monitoring (or lack there of). Nonetheless, it can still be a good source of traffic (of course, that is dependent on how it is used).

I had a good experience with Y.A. in couple of cases. But people should be aware that some answers are not nearly close enough to the correct answer, but again, who ever uses it should put some "gray cells" to work, I learned that nothing comes "on the plate", and for you just for pick it up.

Usually I Google it some more, and then based on several sources I make my approximation.

yahoo answers can be a good resource for some industry related questions, althought real estate may not be one of them.
wonder how some people have time to sit around and ask/answer questions such as those posted above. I'd rather open spam mail in inboxDallas Fort Worth Real Estate Brokerage offering assistance buying, selling, renting Commercial and Residential properties throughout the DFW Metroplex.

It's better to search online articles from valid sources such as wikipedia or better yet talk to a professional. Yahoo Answers has more meaningless answers rather than useful ones.
