    Absolutely. The right links make all the difference. A well placed high PR link to your site is one of the best methods for advancing your page rank. Those PR6's are getting harder and harder to come by!

    How can you say yahoo is not important? as a matter of fact. this is depend on the niche/site you want to optimize. some of your target may used yahoo search engine.. .

    Yahoo is easy to manipulate, but it is on the way down. I don't know anyone who really uses it anymore and its results are pretty crappy. We recently canceled our Yahoo adwords because not only was the traffic less than similarly priced Google adwords, but the bounce rate was higher. I got similar results for their organic results, but I don't care about them. I pretty much just ignore it.

    The only things they have going for them right now are the overpriced Yahoo directory and their apparently great Analytics program (which I am not allowed to try yet apparently)

    Yahoo seems to bring a pretty fair amount of natural traffic for me.

    How is it easy to manipulate? I would like to know. The only way I know how to easily manipulate yahoo results is to pay for their directory.
