Yahoo results
After about 9 months of work, I am now achieving some great search results on both Google and msn.com, but Yahoo still does not even seem to know I exist. I have tried to communitcate to Yahoo but get no response. I have submitted my real estate website to Yahoo Directory but it never seems to get listed. Any thoughts?

One-Way Links
I know Yahoo puts a lot of emphasis on one-way links. You may want to just devote an entire day to looking for websites and forums that will allow you to post a free link.

Stupid question, but one-way being me posting on a forum with a link back to my site? So to do better in google, I need to link back to the site that has the link to mine?

Still no Yahoo results
9 months later from my first post above, and I still don't get any results from a Yahoo search, whereas for my key word searchs such as "palos verdes real estate", I get good results on both Google and MSN, but still almost nothing from Yahoo. I even paid for a paid submission to Yahoo directory. My website has far more original content than any of my competition, but Yahoo continues to ignore me. Any thoughts?

bmegowan -- as an accomplished Webmaster, I don't know alot about Real Estate, but I'll prove that you are indeed indexed many times in Yahoo.
It takes alot of practice and know-how of where to find your site on Yahoo as shown here

Although the beginning of this thread was long ago, I guess there were some recent posts.

Ive been having a similar problem. Today while looking at my rankings, ive noticed a huge downfall in my Yahoo rankings with multiple keyword searches, even though my msn rankings have stayed high. Ive noticed competitors that ive never heard of that are having higher rankings in Yahoo...

yahoo is tricky
Just remember guys, dump all your Realtor-Realtor links. Yahoo and Google both see that as spam. My best friend does consultant work for Google and gets inside tips from time to time. He then shares them with me.
