Thread: What is the difference b/w google and yahoo

Hello Guys,

Can any one help me please, my question is which one is better in both the search engine Google and Yahoo.If we optimize a site Google point of view than site will be rank in yahoo also.

I agree with Abraham. Once you list a website in google, sooner or later Yahoo will.

What is important is to see from our perspective rather than Yahoo or Google. They both give importance to Page contents + Backlinks. Only thing is they have different algorithms of calculating it.

I think both have different features and different alogrithm on their side. Google is more better in comparison of Yahoo.

another great difference between them is speed in crawling and updating the rankings. It seems that the algorithm of G are regularly updated to suit to the current demands of seekers.

At the rate yahoo is going as of late we may not have to worry about optimizing for them. Their profits and revenue have been plummenting.

in Europe 90 % of the user Serch in google and the rest on other search engines include Yahoo.
I hear in america ( USA and Canada ) is it a little bit different but also the most people are search with google.
I think every possibility to get visitors is important.
