What is the difference b/w google and yahoo

If you start to optimize your website for google and you get a good ranking in google that not mean that you get a good ranking in yahoo.
The algorithm of both are different.What both like for a good ranking ar Links to your website. For Google it is more important links from releated high quality websites which is for yahoo not so important.

Both use unique algorithms. In yahoo, Yahoo Answers is included in the results page and I heard Google is becoming 'friendly' to pdf files.

There are many differences, but one that comes to mind is that Yahoo doesn't seem to "sandbox" new sites like Google does. I think MSN is actually the easiest to have a new site rank.

Google Earth shows roads and water ways and landmarks etc. While Google Earth Pro does all of that stuff plus shows every location of strip clubs with show times and cup sizes of all the performers.
