Default How does this website compare...??

I put up a very simple website for my real estate office. Didn't want to spend the heaps of money and, in the end, not enjoy the design or layout. It's simple and I was curious if it does the trick for the moment?? Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated!! This isn't a marketing ploy I really just want some genuine feedback!! The site is www dapruettpropertiesinc dot com!!

    Thanks again,
    Dan

Using white or light colored text on a black background is not a great idea. After a few minutes on a site like that eye strain begines to set in.

If you like black accents and a black background you can keep the page background and header/footer area that way, but give yourself a light background with dark text for the main content areas.

    Talking Website

Thanks for the feedback, I am pretty set on the color scheme, I was more interested in what people thought on the user-friendliness and navigation of the site. Those types of feedback would be greatly appreciated. I will consider the color-scheme change as that is a very good point!!

    Thanks!!

The site looks good! I like that you keep it simple. Keep in mind that when someone comes to your website they are looking for one of two things: to buy a property or to sell a property. Make sure they can easily find out how to do those two things when they get onto your site. Research shows that you have 4 seconds to convince people to stay on your site. Good luck!

I too think the site looks great and very professional. The black background does not bother my eyes because unlike a blog the viewer will not be reading as much. In your case they are spending more time looking at houses.
