Hello
It would give the website a more professional look if you change that green background.
Thanks

Looks good to me

I have to agree that the site doesn't look very professional. The background is unattractive.
Also, who is writing your blog entries? That first article is wrought with inaccuracies. The other blog entries just seem to be regurgitated facts from another source (which aren't credited).
I would also address the optimization issues with your webmaster. If you didn't pay too much for the site then that is one thing, but otherwise you need to get those things fixed.
I hope this helps. Be sure and show us the site after it's fixed.

1. My client really likes the background. What background would work better? What exactly is wrong with the existing background in your opinion?
2. Google ads are not a bad thing. Just because spam sites use them, doesn't mean that every site with Google ads is a spam site. They can be a legitimate way to offer website visitors other options. The ads have helped to increase our rankings.
3. 4salebyme - The blog entries were written by myself, and for some reason the links are not working correctly. Thanks so much for showing me that! For some reason the feed links aren't making it through to the site.
4. We have 1544 links coming to the site...
Thanks for your constructive criticism. Have a fabulous day!

Ads doesn't look good there. Try match colors and position for them. Best opinion : don't use them on RE sites.
Offtopic: Also how much traffic you get from netsavvy?

There are too many links on the right. It looks a bit jumbled with so many options. The top nav bar is alright, but you could get better pictures to make is cleaner and classier. Find pictures that people will enjoy looking at. Good luck!

Yeah, must admit the BG is a bit weird, reminds me of old 60's or 70's carpet, lots of info though which is good, I agree with the google ads - you are trying to sell property not send your traffic else where for another agent to sell the potential client a property!
And all the old real estate directory links on the homepage, this is what you see from old agent sites years ago - I personally think they are tacky and a waste of space.
But design wise it looks professional, until you get to the bottom of the page past the address and contact details.
