o.k. so I'm an addict. I can't help myself so I just started a new blog and would like to get some feedback on the layout and design.

Looks good and easy to navigate. If it were me I would play with the colors a little.

Thanks. I am playing around a little bit to see what I like. I put that header in and I didn't like it. Then I changed the background color to grey from that light blue. I think it looks better now. I appreciate the review.

I agree. Play around with the colors especially the black against the blue, but overall looks pretty good.

I think it looks great with the new colors. Question... Do you need the calendar on there. On my PC the calendar runs off the screen and right away I am wondering what am I not seeing. Is there a value to having it on there?

I love different blue css colour schemes, I just think that you are missing some nice images in there to make it a bit kinder on the eyes.

Otherwise it looks great for a blog.
