I'm trying to increase the SEO on my site. If anyone has any suggestions on what I can do, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

    Hi Becky,

Love your site. It looks great.

I use this tool and its free to find out how my site is doing and also I can check on my competitors sites with this tool. Its invaluable.

sorry, I cannot post any urls.

Also the one thing Search Engines look at is backlinks, the more backlinks you have the higher your site will rank. Granted the higher the PR, the better.

    hope this helps,

    George

I just went over your meta tags. Meta tags are basically the keywords. I see you have used "metarie, river ridge, new orleans, homes for sale, real estate, louisiana home"

Now, it's gonna be a bit advanced, so bare with me.

The best way to use the keyword is to focus on a small niche. For example, if you just type "real estate" on google and hit enter, your site will probably never come up on the first 3-4 pages. But if you write down "river ridge real estate" or "river ridge homes for sale" etc, your possibility increases.

I don't know much about your target audience, so I cant say much about what your keywords should be. But do a good research on it. I do think your's are just fine.

Make sure your site gets updated with content and useful info.

And you should not stress too much on PR's, just focus on content.

But over all it seems like you got a good site there. Remember SEO needs time to show results, so don't expect something overnight.
