http://www.home-fish.com - Plotting Foreclosures on a google map.
Hi,
I'm looking for feedback on my website at http://www.home-fish.com .
At Home-Fish, we offer a free list of government owned foreclosures. I am mostly looking for feedback relating to the presentation of this information - but all feedback is welcome!
Thanks,

I'm no web master. I love the site you've created though. How accurate is it? What kind of database does it use to get its results?

The properties are scraped from publicly accessible web sites everyday - so we are as up to date as possible. Creating the database of foreclosures was definitely the most difficult part of this project - and we are still adding new REO sites every week.

For whatever reason, it does not display any REO's in my area (zip 96753), perhaps there is a glitch or you just don't get that feed (which would bring a question, how much of the US do you actually cover?). Like digital mentioned, the contact button doesn't work (and it's not exactly easy to find). I would suggest putting some kind of navigation buttons (i.e. 'about'). Do you offer any services to agents/buyers/sellers, or is the point that visitors can browse for REO's on a map? You don't have a lot of things on there, but it seems that everything has a different font size (uniformity, while keeping functionality, would go a long way). Best of luck.

Some of the zip codes don't necessarily have properties (we are still writing those page scrapers). We should probably have some type of message when that happens.
I created the site because there was no way to easily search for free foreclosure listings when I was looking to purchase one. I put it online because it was very useful for me, and I felt it could definitely be useful to other home buyers interested in foreclosed properties.
Thanks for the suggestions!

Very Interesting
I like your site. It surprised me at first because of it's look, which is quite unique. It definetly conveys what you are marketing. Excellent job.
Permanent credit restoration is much better than simple repair. Higher credit scores equal more real estate transactions. We use a United States federal law and have never lost a single trade line dispute with the 3 major credit bureaus in 11 years. Credit knowledge is Power
