    Post Please review www.103grand.com

This website I've designed has a property I've put up for sale that I would like feedback on:

    1. Is sufficient information provided about the property for someone to make a decision on whether or not to pick up the telephone to want to see it? If no, what is missing that could be added or changed?

    2. Do all the pages of the website load reasonably quickly - particularly those for the Interior, Garden, and Neighborhood that have scrolling pictures and a Youtube video?

    3. Is there anything you do not like or would change about the website? Layout, design, colors, fonts, video, etc? On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being a poor website design, and 10 being the best website design, how would you rate this design "for selling this particular property"?

    4. Is there anything you would add or subtract from the website? (Please note - I cannot add any more scrolling pictures to either the Interiors Page or the Neighborhood Page, as the maximum number of pictures has been added. To add something else, I must subtract something that is already there.)

    5. What is your opinion of the Market Analysis in the Cost Compare section - a positive or negative for selling this particular property? Do the comparative numbers make this property look attractive from a pricing standpoint compared to its competition? If not, why not? How would you change the price?

Thank you for anyone who takes the time to provide input - it is GREATLY appreciated.[/FONT]

Would it be possible for you to make it so users can see thumbnail images of the scrolling pictures and click on one to make it go to that image? If I were a potential buyer, I might become a little impatient with that thing. Also, people sometimes like to go back and forth between images of two or more rooms--I think it helps them imagine what living in the house is like if they can go back and forth between the pictures.

It took me a while to realize that the background image was a set of blue prints. I don't have an immediate suggestion off the top of my head for a replacement. Perhaps just a more clear picture of blueprints would do the trick. I think the color works well for the background, it's just that image. You don't want something that's going to be distracting though. Perhaps get a clear (and larger, as I suspect your image was resized too large) picture of blueprints off a stock image site, and then try applying a slight blur effect to make it appear out of focus or reduce the contrast a little so it won't steel attention away from the real content. That would look a lot cleaner than the distorted image you have now. Or perhaps you could just get a very plain looking blueprint picture and then you wouldn't have to mess around with any effects, you could just crop it to size.

On the navigation, you have a black background image for the links, and then when you hover over them that image disappears to reveal the blueprint background underneath. I didn't think that was so appealing, and it was unexpected, I felt like I should be waiting for another image to load or something (try not to surprise your users on standard or essential features). I would recommend either taking that same black background and making it lighter when the user hovers the mouse over it, or else just keep the background image as-is and turn the link that light blue color that you've used to denote the current page.

I might also suggest putting the phone number on the homepage to cater to those impatient visitors. And your e-mail link on the contact page has the href attribute set to YourName@YourSite.com, so correct that.

My personal impression is that the cost comparison is a good thing to have. However, I am not a Realtor and I would be interested to hear what an agent has to say about that.

I don't have any major quarrels with the textual information, except to say that if you add thumbnails to the scrolling images on the neighborhood page, I would suggest also putting a text version of the caption next to each.

And yes, the site loads fine for me.

Honestly, I don't really like the style of the website, looks out dated and unprofessional.

However, having said that - only because of the property I wanted to see more, so in fact ... if I wasn't reviewing your website for you, I wouldn't have really taken much notice of it because I was so intrigued by the property on the website!

Excellent information, nice photos (even though some of these are a bit squashed!) and excellent idea just to list this one property like this on the site.

Good luck with the sale, hope it sells fast for you.

    Default Use Tables

If you use tables, you can separate the picture from the words better. Everything is right next to everything else, if you see what I mean.
Permanent credit restoration is much better than simple repair. Higher credit scores equal more real estate transactions. We use a United States federal law and have never lost a single trade line dispute with the 3 major credit bureaus in 11 years. Credit knowledge is Power

    Hi,

I agree with KingNeece, try to separate the picture and the text...

Though the design is too simple but you can still try another background and color as well.

I'm not good in design, but feel free to check my site.

    Have a good day,
    Sean

Post your site to free classified sites that allow you link back to your page. Example my site listed below were very popular in the NJ area and craigs list. Watch craigs list and renew the listing when it expires its free and cant hurt.
