Home Inspection Site - Feedback Requested
I helped a client put up a website for home inspections. I wonder if some of you can look at this site and provide some suggestions for helping him improve his rankings. Additional marketing ideas would also be appreciated.

BTW, he is doing great for radon inspections, mold inspections and commercial inspections.
Thanks for your help.

Hi, Eiota
I looked your site.Looked fine but there are some changes required in site.
First of all the content should be more and unique in the index page.
Secondly it must be attractive so that the user can wait on your site and understands what you are providing.
So work according to the suggestions and give further updations.
Thanks.Last edited by Chief Tutor; 10-28-2009 at 09:14 AM.

Hi Campbell I looked your site. I have some suggestions about your site.
First give it a nice and attractive look that catches attention of viewers. Title for example.
Give brief and precise information at the home page. Pleae update.

I almost always recommend a Wordpress blog to help keep content fresh by adding all the time. Make sure you collect names/emails to put people on newsletter. You don't always need an inspector but you want to be on the top of the list for people to call when they do need one. If you are sending them emails consistently you will "brand" yourself.

Hi Al,
You've got some good input here already but I wanted to mention from a visitor's interest perspective, the copy should be written from a "What's In It For Me" perspective. Work with the benefits of hiring an inspector instead of "just the facts". Try to play to emotions (i.e., Ensure your family's safety and comfort with a thorough home inspection before you buy).
A blog is also a great help in the fresh content and SEO areas!
Hope that helps!
Cheers,
Pam

P.S. I would also change the "Home Page" title to either Home or Welcome - "Home Page" sounds very "templatey" or generic.Last edited by pivey; 10-26-2009 at 06:00 PM. Reason: additional information added

It's a nice site but drop the links Tab - once you get someone to his site, the last thing you want to do is help them leave it...
