I think you have a good start, but it is very hard to make a professional website.
The first thing that jumps out me is the red. It is very bright compared to the rest of your page. Your personal photos are also blurry and hard to see and your page is a bit cluttered.
Its a good start, it just takes a lot of work to build a site. The best suggestion I can make is to start looking at other real estate agent sites and see what you like from each one.
A site should be clean looking, easy to navigate, and very easy for your clients to find the information they are looking for. People do not stay on sites long if they can not find what they are looking for in a few seconds.
Good luck with the site!Steps Marketing, Inc.

I visited web site in your signature, and I have some advices: first I think you should reconsider centering the content and the menu on the page instead of left orientation, too much empty space is "poking the eyes", you better fill that space with something useful. Simply if I were you, I would use content space for punch line information, like special offers, services etc. When user loads your start page, what is seen is crucial, if there is something interesting in content area, it's good, but if you have a lot of empty space...
Remaining pages and searches should be only extension of your offers, which you did very well, so what you have to do is to extract most important content of your web site, in some brief manner, and put that to the front page. Except this everything is just fine. I hope that I was helpful...
Greetings

Compess Pictures
Your pictures are loading slowly. Try compressing the pictures into a gif or jpeg format using Adobe Photoshop or a similar editing software. A lot of time people won't stick around for more than a second or two before leaving if the site doesn't load fast.

If I were an interested prospect...what on your site:
1. Differentiates you from any other real estate agent out there?
2. Communicates whats in it for me if I use you?
3. Compels me to call you or leave my information?
The answer is nothing.
Most agents focus too much on creating a "pretty" site. But let me ask you this: Which would sell a service better...a picture or a paragrah explaining the benefits.
You should have answered the paragraph. And that's why it's much more important to focus on the copy, or content, of your site than the aesthetics.
The hard truth is your site still needs a lot of work.
So, you have to decide what is your USP (unique selling propostition). What makes you different from others. You have to incorporate that into your message.
You also have to tell the visitors what's in it for them. Detail the benefits of using you as opposed to others.
There's a lot of other things you can do to get your website working for you...but it's much to lengthy a subject for me to go into here.
Do a little research on direct reponse marketing. If you can't grasp it, then it's time to get someone to create a 24/7, lead generating machine as opposed to an online business card.Last edited by els; 03-09-2009 at 03:10 PM. Reason: type-o

Application Redirect
Hey Kirk
You may find som serious trust issues with your apply now for a mortgage link. The application may be secure, but you are redirecting to another web site (homeloan). You should note on the apply now page that you will be redirecting to another site, to maintain the trust of the user.
The giveaway? Your logo on the homeloan page is of poor quality.Renaissance America
