    Default question

I believe your concept to be sound, as an investor and not a realtor, it is good to have sources to track the various market's progress. There are, however, many of these sites now, RealtyTrac.com being one of the better known one.

I think it is important in the information you provide to include what houses have sold for, since the asking price too often does not exclusively reflect the market prices, and the sales price has the most influence on the market price. (Just ask anyone trying to sell their home in an area filled with foreclosures what they have done to the value of their home.)

My question is how did you determine what cities to provide info for. On your list I see Charlotte, NC is not listed, yet it has consistently been mentioned over the past few years, as a relatively stable market. Sales of homes has flattened out considerably compared to a year ago, but overall the homes that sell still sell near their asking price.

I understand this is a work in progress and hope what feedback I have offered is helpful. (offered by an investor, not a web designer, realtor, or other Real Estate Professional).
