Thread: Website Desgin Query

Hello,

I have been searching a lot on what does realtors require as a web disign to improve their business.

I would be great if some realtors can advice me on what is their requirements and what does they look out for so that i can get my first site up and running to get into my protfolio.

here is the best way to start. go to google and type in any city name combined with words real estate or homes for sale. Click on the top 3-4 sites that appear and look for individual realtor websites that you like. That will give you an idea of what the leading realtors are doing online. Don't copy those sites but use them for ideas to create your own site. You may also see the companies listed at the bottom of those sites that can help you build a site also.

When you received the advice to get ideas from other sites it was not an invitation to steal other sites. Thinktorontohomes.com will not be happy about you stealing their content. I did not check the whole site but your home page is virtually a copy of this site.

There are laws against this and if you steal my content like this you would be hearing from my lawyer.

Just now i am hearing the name of the site Thinktorontohomes.com and i guess i havent replicated any content/design of my site
buy-hawaiirealestate.com site.

Also i found that there is no similarities between the two sites.

Could you please let me know what is similar and i would be happy to remove those part

Since you think denial will get you off the hook I looked at some more of your content.

Those of us who take the time to write content have a very deep seated dislike for people who think it is ok to steal it.

The content you stole was cut and pasted so if it wasn't you it was your employee.

You have created a website by stealing content from other sites.

You have no contact information on your site so apparently you do not sell real estate. I can only guess that your site has been created for the affiliate ads.

The only positive note here is that with all of this stolen content, your site will go nowhere.

If you are just interested in starting a Real Estate Forum or adding a forum to your real estate site SMF (simple machines forums) is a great simple, free solution. I used it on my first site which was a forum and knew I nothing at all about websites. The smf site, which u can find on google, has a great community that will help you with any questions or problems. And it has all kinds of great add ons and plug ins like gallerys, games etc.

If your planning to build a website... You should had this one, Dreamweaver..^,^ and search into internet the free templates... This template helps you to build your site more faster ^^,
