There is also another real estate solution for standing sites which is called propertymaxpro .com which is really cheap, easy to install and easy to edit if you need to add new features to it. It is mysql based and can be installed in the matter of half an hour.

I don't know how easy it would be to plug it in to a CMS as that is one of the biggest problems with CMS's - installing custom kits.

I have to disagree there, CMS development like Joomla and Mambo has enabled 000s, of people to get involved with web design as they can simply load new components about a vast array of subjects and needs with a few clicks.

Sure if you want some variations of those components there is some tweaking to do and learn, but isnt that the case with any website?.

Throw a bunch of html at the average person and they dont know where to start.
Just jumping in with both feet. (well maybe all 4)

www.horsehomes4sale.com add a free listing for any horse related property and get seen on equestrian websites all over the country.

    Default Joomla and EZRealty

EZRealty for Joomla is a great and Flexible component. It costs a nominal licensing fee, compared to the time you will put into it.

I created a site with this program just to promote a few rental properties. It went together quickly and does a great job of showing off properties.

You can get EZRealty through Joomla.com. Click Extensions.

I personally like Open-Realty. I have been using it for years with little or no problems.

CMS realty is a good solution if you need all of the fancy plugins of joomla and the easy to use Open-Realty. The bridge is pretty reliable now.

Open-Realty's support forum is one of the best I have seen.

I have developed many sites based on Open-Realty and I provide many free templates on my site.
