    Default The FREE secret on better website ranking.

    Hey people...

    I tried using this code and it is amazing. Within a month or two, you could have a MUCH higher ranking on most search engines. My secret Meta Tags. You have to put this code on each one of your pages :

    1 st Step:

    STOP SPENDING MONEY ON STUPID PROGRAMS!!!!

    2nd Step

    Edit all of your pages and include this code right after the <HEAD> line

    <TITLE>Apartment For Rent in NYC, Rental Apartment NYC, No fee Manhattan Apartments</TITLE>
    <meta name="description" content="description goes here">
    <meta name="keywords" content="Keywords comma separated goes here">
    // Do not change this code // <-- Remove this though
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-us">
    <meta name="robot" content="INDEX">
    <meta name="GOOGLEBOT" content="INDEX">
    <meta name="YahooSeeker" content="INDEX">
    <meta name="YahooSeeker" content="INDEX,FOLLOW">
    <meta name="MSNBOT" content="INDEX">
    <meta name="MSNBOT" content="INDEX,FOLLOW">
    <meta name="robot" content="index,follow">
    <meta name="robots" content="index,follow">
    <meta name="GOOGLEBOT" content="index,follow">
    <meta name="GOOGLEBOTS" content="index,follow">
    <meta name="ROBOT" content="all">
    <meta name="ROBOTS" content="all">
    <meta name="GOOGLEBOT" content="all">
    <meta name="GOOGLEBOTS" content="all">
    <meta name="RATING" content="GENERAL">
    <meta name="Copyright" content="Empire Apartments Inc.">
    <meta name="Identifier-URL" content="http://www.empire-apartments.us/">

    3rd Step

    Once you have done so: Resubmit your site to the main search engines and within a week or two, watch your ratings grow. You can also register for my site if you're looking for an apartment.

    This is where to submit:

    Google: http://www.google.com/addurl/
    Yahoo: http://search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html <-- Need yahoo account
    MSN: http://submitit.bcentral.com/msnsubmit.htm
    AOL: http://dmoz.org/ <-- Weird hehe...

    Bunk.

    You do not need any of the meta robots in your code. Provided you have a clear, navigable menu structure the search engines will index all of your pages UNLESS you use robots meta tags or robots.txt to EXCLUDE indexing and/or following of certain pages in your web site.

    The nature of search engine robots (i.e. spiders) is that they navigate and index your site unless they are told not to do so.

    Also, as long as you have links from other sites pointing to your own, you never need to submit your site to search engines. When search engines find your link on other web sites the will follow and index your site.

    Default Agree !

    Yeah, definatley agree with HHI Golf Guy, there is no need for all those tags, I just use robot.txt file to allow and disallow for robots.

    That is way too much.

    <TITLE>Apartment For Rent in NYC, Rental Apartment NYC, No fee Manhattan Apartments</TITLE>
    Does this need to be verbatim or can the title be changed?

    Some of the robots meta names work, but all the yahooo seeker and googlebot stuff doesn't raise your rankings as fast as just getting updated content on your site. The more you update your content, the higher your ranking. That's why having a blog or a forum on your site is the best way to drive the bots to your site.

    I think now you need to make the sitemap.xml and submit it to the search engines. This replaces robot.txt.

    Default Changing content

    Does anyone know if changing content on your site frequently really improves rankings? If so, cna you just change one or two words or are more extensive changes needed?
