Default Good logo speaks for itself

A good logo design speaks for itself, its very sight will evoke a strong impact in the minds of intended audience thus establishing a strong bond with the audience. It engages the audience attention and builds relationship with the brand in a healthy way.

Absolutely. Ive been building websites for about 2 years now and I always put alot of time and effort into creating a catchy, aesthetic logo.

    The reasons are two fold.

The first is because when I visit a site that is generally the first thing people notice. If it looks professional, then the person viewing your site will take it and the content on it more seriously.

The second reason is that it makes the person visiting your site remember your site.

    Default Logo a Key?

Why do you think that a high-quality logo is so important?

It seems like it is a nice touch for branding, but I don't know that it is very important when you are establishing yourself. It seems like lead generation through in-your-face benefits would be more important.

    Am I missing something here?

Making a thread about every little aspect of a site when you could have easily created ONE 'guide' is getting annoying.

Perhaps creating a site of quality content (which SE's can index for keywords) should be of higher priority than a logo. In my market, none of the entries on the first page have a logo.

    Hello to everyone,

what do you think of my logo?
It isn't only for Real Estate, so there is no such theme in it.

Good LoGo creates an impact of the company on users... a user can easily create a positive or negative image within minutes, it can easily helps to make a decision about the company image and services provided... we can say that logo plays a very important role as "first impression is the last impression"...

A high quality logo these days isnt that expensive anymore as well. I think its important in terms of reliability. When I browsed through some well known realtor websites over here these days I was surprised how old fashioned or bad designed logos are still used.
