    Default Elance and RentaCoder

Try Elance(dot)com or Rentacoder(dot)com and look for someone that has built real estate websites before. I agree also that Wordpress can do a lot, but, in my opinion, you'll need some hand holding at the beginning maybe a lot of hand holding.

Default Website Design - Make sure you have

All of the suggestions were pretty good, I would add the fact that you should also make sure you have the rights to the website and that it's not encrypted code in any way. I know of a few people that used very popular companies that come up in the search for Real Estate website design and they ended up having it tied into their system, so when he didn't want them to do any SEO work or any new improved upgrades, they would just throw a wrench into his code and he would have to call to have them fix it. Definately make sure to have the rights to the website design.

I use SBI! to build my websites. They are $299/year and comes with everything you need to build a successful website. They teach you how to choose your niche and your keywords as well as all of the tools you will need to build a successful website. I have three now, one on cooking, one on where to retire and one that is still in the beginning stages on frugal living. I don't need to know html. They have a block by block sitebuilder for those people like me who are technically challenged although you can upload your own html if you choose. They have wonderful technical support as well as a very busy forum with lots of people who are more than willing to lend you some guidance.

I know this is an old thread, but it can also help new people starting out. Although I went with agentimage, upon further research I would say REW has the best sites.
