Hello everyone,

Currently my company has a Linux VPS where we host several domains but one of them got a redesign and it was done in .NET 2.0 and MS-SQL 2005 and now i need to get a Windows shared hosting plan from another company to host that site.

My problem is that on that domain we have all our email accounts and im not happy about moving it to a shared hosting plan and to a windows host that i don't have any experience at all with.

I'm wondering about my alternatives...

Maybe buy a new domain and set up a redirect from *.myolddomain.com to newdomain.com but that wouldn't be optimal as it will end up confusing our visitors. And im not sure if that has any side effects on search engine indexing.

Any recommendations?
