Ping Services
I have a new WP blog that is setup to automatically use ping-o-matic to send pings out letting the search engines know I have posted new content. It got me thinking...what are some of the other ping services that are used regularily, either automatically or via some manual process?
I'm aware of Pingoat but not sure how effective it is. I've also heard about a ping service via Technorati but haven't tried that.Visit my Warner Robins Realtor site or check out my Warner Robins Real Estate Blog.

For automatically tweeting new blog posts, you can use twitterfeed.com. It hooks into your RSS feed and posts to your twitter account.
By the way, this doesn't update a search engine, but I thought I'd add it since it helps get the news out.

Thanks...I've been using Pingler in addition to my auto WP Ping and am happy with the results so far. Anything that improves business is a plus!
