How can i start a referral program in joomla?
I ma using joomla to run my website and i know lil about how to use joomla.I would like to start a referral program in it and i have no idea how to do it.I need your help please.

Hi there.
First of all, I would like to tell you that joomla is a blogging platform. You can not start a referral program with it, but you can certainly PROMOTE your program by blogging.
I will explain it a bit.
Suppose you have a referral program about shoes. In joomla, you can log in and write something good about your shoes, or find a creative way to get people's attention by writing. At the end of the post, you include a link to sign up in your program.
Then if the person signs up and he markets your shoes by blogging too, he can provide his referral link at the end of his blog posts. So when people click on it or buy through it, the program works.
And now about the actual referral SYSTEM, where your clicks, affiliates etc gets managed..its probably a best idea to get your Affiliate program coded by a professional. But it can cross your budget. There are some systems available that are already coded and ready to buy, just google "affiliate management software" and choose one. There are some free too, so choose whatever suits your needs.
