Thread: Stay away from this hosting: DreamHost

Hello,


This is just a note to let you know your DreamHost account has been
disabled for violation of our Terms of Service listed here:

http://www.dreamhost.com/tos.html

Specifically, section 8 of Material Products, "Customer agrees to not
engage in activities pertaining to Black Hat SEO, Spamdexing, and so-
called "Scraper sites." These can all have a severely detrimental
effect on server performance and are not permitted."

As such, we have now closed your account effective immediately and
refunded all your money. It should show back up on your credit card
within 3-4 busines days.

Please do not attempt to sign up for service with DreamHost again in
the future.

I email them for more info what I did wrong
Well, all my emails went unanswered.

They do not even have the courtesy to explain to me or give me an
opportunity to have my sites up until I transfer.

Why would anyone host at DH is beyond me!

Their CPanel is not user friendly and very difficult to transfer and manage.


My new hosting company is located in the same city and I know where they are at and their location and phone numbers and talk to them on the phone.

Best of all, supporting the local economy.

Lesson learned---get a hosting company that has a live person support.

The worst thing is ignoring all your emails---now that the worst customer service!!!

Sounds like another web company with lousy people to people contact.

what people? they do not have live support, just email and that suck-s!!

it is one way communication.

Get a hosting company that has live tech support and best still, one in your city you live in-support the local economy.

I use godaddy and is pretty good.

They owe you at least a discussion on the phone. Look at the bad publicity they are getting by ignoring you.

Seems like the customer "no service" department is following the "business avoidance" model exactly

Time to move on, at least they gave you money back. Many hosts don't do that. I had to fight for 6 weeks with a bad host once.

It's been 2 years I'm with them and got no trouble at all. Maybe you should discuss this again with them to get better understanding. Just ask the reason, they'll let u know
