    Default Real Estate Blog ideas

I'd like to start a local real estate blog and am wondering if anyone has experience with any real estate blog companies that they could recommend. I want a really cute and custom looking blog and have someone set it up with all the proper SEO and real estate tools - so it's ready to go for me to use it.

My suggestion is go with a wordpress blog. It's free, does well with SEO and has many templates you can select from to customize it and there are quite a few plugins available to build a really good looking blog.

It's also fairly simple to fully customize the designs with your own branding.

    Best of luck.

I would say you use Wordpress.
Wordpress is growing at a very fast rate. It is also seo friendly and has many features to make it look good and user friendly.
I think wordpress is the best for blogging.

I think blogspot (blogger.com) is the best since it gets indexed quickly by Google. But then that's probably because it's owned by Google.

I use yahoo hosting and a wordpress blog. Find a template that has all the SEO widgets in place. Make sure when you add a description that the alt attributes are used.

Do you have a website already? If you do, it can be really good for your site if you install a Wordpress blog on the same host.

If you are looking to separate the two, you should really setup a Wordpress blog on its own domain then, instead of using the free version because the SEO implications are much higher (when it's its own website).

If you follow then you'll know what I recommend is not free... true. Here are the costs involved in setting it up as its own website (wordpress.org) as compared with using the free service (wordpress.com):

    1) Hosting costs. Setup on 1and1.com Home Package - $5/mo
    2) Domain Registration. $10/yr
    3) Time involved. Or you can hire someone to do it.

Having a blog is one of the best ways to get leads from search engines.
