a signup/login page
I am trying to make a page for a school project I have made a signup and log in and log out bar but I am unsure how to make it so that the user is actually logged in and can only view certain pages. It also doesn't actually sign anyone in it just redirects to the page I set it too and has the same login and password bar. what am I missing?

What platform / language do you use? It's a typical project and probably some students can help you with that.
