    Default backgroind image help

    howcan i get a background image to strech as a webpage gets longer.
    background i want to use fades from light to dark.
    on a longer page im trying to get it where it dose not repete its self.

    using text to make the background repeat along x,or y

    I would suggest you just nest another <table> within the <tr> and put an image background for that.
