Thinking about selling my directory/profile site code
Hey all,
I just finished developing a site and I am thinking of selling off the code, and I imagined that Realtors might be one of the interested markets.
This site (jobtrio.com) is a completely custom directory search, with enhanced profiles and review, etc. As you will see, our market is California construction contractors, but we have had several Realtors show some interest in real estate related applications for the code.
In your opinions, is it worth it for me to try and market the code? Hove any of you ever purchased code templates before? I am completely new to the concept.
No offers, please. (That will just get me pulled as spam!)
Thanks for any input.

Thanks Suraja,
Now it's just a matter of figuring out the price-point! It cost me tens-of-thousands to procure, but I'm not sure how that translates to resell value. Do I just put it out on e-lance (or a similar site) and see what happens? Do you know of any better approaches?

I don't know much about this but I have dealt with some smaller software companies before. Companies like avangate and and northstarsolutions hand payment processing but avangate also does offer marketing as well. I believe they end up taking a cut of your sales but I'm not sure if that is how it works. Good luck! When you figure out the price you should let me know. I am kind of curious.
