Question How much to maintain real estate license here?

I plan on buying 2-3 houses in the next year. I have been accumulating properties through the last 3 years and own 6 houses through out Charlotte, NC, Jax, FL and Dallas, TX. I am a financial professional and have thought about picking up a real estate license to practice in TX. I would use it to buy my houses, help w coworkers and possible friends. I know how much it cost to get a license, but how much would it cost for a "bare bone" license in TX (maybe excess to MLS but thats really it)? I would expect to do about 9-12k worth of commissions just for houses I would buy and maybe 3-10k for others. Thank you for all your help..
