Thread: Why do people use Twitter?

Twitter can be a great way to market your services if you can get the right type of people following you. If you are trying to reach real estate consumers, you would need to get those consumers to follow your tweets (short posts)

Twitter is getting huge and gaining new users by the minute, so I thought I would make a list of the most read posts on my blog from the last months....

I'm not sold on the idea of Twitter as an effective marketing tool. There are so many other real estate platforms that seem to be better for rhat. Having said this, I do know of a couple of agents who use it effectively and have managed to get clients on Twitter.

Way back a couple of year ago I would agree that Twitter is one of the most effective internet marketing tools, but right now all you can see are non-sense post coming from spammers that degraded Twitter internet marketing capability.

I've never really been too much interested in twitter. There are far better tools out there to use that work far better in my opinion.

Tweeter is one useful way to express yourself,promote anything that you wanted! It's a good social site as well!

Marketing in general and especially for the real estate sector has always been invasive in some form or another. Whether it is by spam, pop ups or even direct marketing audiences has grown to become immune to these methods. Twitter, as well as other social networking sites allow the potential clients to get informed on their own terms, therefore they are more open.

The unique thing about twitter is that it knocks down a formal wall between you and the potential client. With a company website or even a facebook page, the client sees the company. With a twitter account the potential client can "meet" the company on a more amicable and personal level.

Twitter has had a huge impact on the sports and music industry bringing celebrities closer to their fans. All businesses can benefit from this, you just have to get creative.

I dont think there's any use for Twitter in real estate. No consumer cares what i have to say day to day. A good use I've seen is for the local ice cream man. He twitters, where he's going to be and what time.
