    Default End of lease

I want to know if a notice needs to be given to occupant before their lease ends. I have a NYC apartment rental, rented out for one year and on the contract the landlord signed it states "that no notice shall be required for either property-owner or renter to end the tenancy at the end of the fixed term". Is it legal?

If the lease got end then certainly you have to pay the complete payment else you can follow the legal procedure which is normally done.

    Thanks

It is understood if lease is over then either you have to vacant it or should talk to landlord to increase lease. In this situation you have to pay for the next time what you both will decide.

It is dependent on a couple variables....how long have the tenents been residing there? The law is a tricky thing and when it comes to property management I am not a big fan. In general - you will still need to give notice even if the lease is up...
