Default Real estate Purchase - Neighbor's fence on my property

When I purchased a building, I didnt see a fence of the neighbor at my property. Later when I noticed it, that time I owned the property already. What should I do? Accept the property as it is or is there any way out for me.

This is probably going to require a survey and the help of a real estate attorney in your area since the laws vary from state to state.

Thanks Mark for your prompt reply. My house is in the state of Georgia. Surveys are generally done prior to house purchase. Do I still have a chance to appeal or am I burdened with it?

Why didn't you get the property surveyed before the purchase or as a contingency of the purchase?

I am not licensed in GA, so you may need to speak with either your agent or an attorney in GA regarding the laws there.
