    Cruise for Two Certificate
    Each certificate entitles two adults 21 years of age or older to cruise on a 5 day Carnival cruise. Passengers can choose between the Bahamas from Port Canaveral, the Caribbean from Miami, or Mexico from Los Angeles. These certificates are valid from September through February each year. Port charges, taxes and fees are not included.
    Passengers enjoy accommodations, all meals, room service and snacks, use of shipboard facilities, live entertainment, and an invitation to the Captain's cocktail part.

    Why It Works
    Our programs are designed to help you motivate your customers while filling a need for Carnival Cruise Line to fill beds on their ships. We offer inventory that might sail un-used costing the cruise line money. Whether the ship is full or not, the cost of sailing is virtually the same. The same amount of staff from entertainers to kitchen help are required. Fuel and berthing costs are the same. Enough food has to be ordered weeks in advance.
    On the other hand, each bed that is filled is a customer who may buy drinks, play in the casino or shop in the duty free shops. Cruise lines however are reluctant to sell off cruises publicly after selling the same cruise through their regular channels at hundred of dollars more. You benefit by being able to offer your customers access to this inventory.

    *1 please note, that these certificates can only be given away, not sold nor used by yourself/ family members.

    Default is a gift a gift?

    Is it really a gift if there is a significant cost incurred with it? (IE, the client paying for their own airfare and expenses). I guess this could be determined on an individual client basis, but I don't imagine it would be suitable for everyone.
