    Default Private Islands Blog

    Hey everyone,

I recently started a private islands blog. As an owner and "islomaniac" (island fanatic) I am quite knowledgeable about island real estate. If you are interested in private islands real estate please check out my site!

I love that blog. I love islands too!
My favorite islands are the Polynesian islands.
I lived in Hawaii for 5 years and miss it.
Nothing in the US has come close to what I experienced there.
I live in hot and muggy Florida now.
You blog will keep me up at nights now!

Thank-you for the compliment. Its always great to meet other island enthusiasts. Although i am sure Florida is hot and muggy right now, but it does have some great islands. If not go a little bit south to the Bahamas and you will find some really great ones. Belize also has some beautiful islands. You are really fortunate to be really close to an area where the island market is booming. There are literally tons of island resorts within a couple hour plane ride from you. Although Polynesia is beautiful I am sure you can find something in your area.

    Thanks for the encouragement!
My husband loves the Virgin Islands. He was born in Cuba.
But I am a 'California girl' and love the west coast more, the Pacific more than the Atlantic. I want to retire on Maui.
    So we shall see!

Maui what an amazing place it would be to retire. The west coast and the east coast both have their pros and cons. I would lean towards the east coast because its where most of my family is. The flight would just be to long for my old body. None the less, I can see the charms of the west coast, the more you venture into the south pacific the more breathtaking the islands become.
