I created my real estate investing blog only 6 weeks ago. I have learned alot in the last 6 weeks about how to get views. It is funny how I didnt even know what a blog was a year ago and now I am obsessed with my blog. I am very passionate about real estate investing so I guess this is the only way to get my information out to the world. I created my blog with wordpress. I didnt know what wordpress was two months ago. I used
gcuffe as my web name because I didnt know that would be the name. I thought I was supposed to just use my name to create an account without knowing that the gcuffe would be the name of my new wordpress website.

It great to hae a wordpress blog.

But bear in mind that you don't own your own domain name. Anything happens to wrodpress, your business goes down.

Besides, you building wordpress business not yours. And wordpress can shutdown your account any time if yiu violate the rules and you will lose your credibility.

It's always better to own yur domain name. That way, you can change web hosting providers any time and your site credibility remains.

I didn't know much about blogging two months ago. But now I read a lot of different articles and comments about RE. I was inspired to see that anyone can open a blog. But didn't know the risk of account for example if disabled then I'm gone. So that's priority number two now.

Wordpress will allow you to export your blog posts as an XML file (and maybe other formats as well).

Blessing2006 made some good points, so you should get in the habit of exporting all of your hard work from Wordpress periodically.
