What are you trying to accomplish with it? Are there certain keywords you are trying to make it rank for?

I'm trying to increase traffic to my website, and get some interested readers some more information.
I'm not sure which keywords I would be trying to rank it for. It's mostly about the Kitchener-Waterloo market, sustainable housing and information for first time buyers and sellers.
Suggestions? Should I narrow it-- include all these qualifyers in the keywords? How can I make it rank?
Keep in mind I'm very new to all of this.
    Thanks!

I think that if you spend some time reading other posts in the forum you will get the answers you need.

I have never used blogspot. Would I be correct in saying she should get a hosting package and use something like wordpress instead so she can customize coding?

I think you must place real estate ads; but you need to change the black theme, because that is very common.

I agree, I don't like the black background with white writing. Makes my eyes hurt.

Read therealestatetomato.com they have a great blog on Real Estate blogging.

Thanks for the suggestions. I switched to a different colour scheme that should be a little easier reading.
I have also been reading up as much as possible on the forums and some other places, hoping to increase my presence and make a more useful blog. (Real estate tomato was quite useful, thank you!)
I'd love any additional feedback in regards to content, style, optimization, tagging, etc. that people would like to share.
