Google recently changed their algorithm

I have heard that recently, Google has changed their "formula" for rankings websites - this has shifted a lot of our rankings! Anyone notice the same thing?

May be you are right but havn't heard anything like this. I used to read the blogs and seoroundtable news regularly but not get any such thing yet.

Yup! I have noticed this also, it changes everyday, any one of you guys aware of google dance?

Yes, Google Dance is the process of rebuilding their rankings. Many people do not know, that Google actually has THREE server sites.. www(dot)google(dot)com <-- sry can't post links yet.... (well known) and www2.google.com and www3.google.com. (www3 is thought to be a beta)

It is rumored that the recent change in rankings is due to the use of www3 beta/testing server during Google most recent "dance" - Google the phrase "Google Dance" you'll see ALL KINDS of stuff come up!

Interesting, eh? :-P

by the way, the dance occurs monthly, and sometimes a little longer than a month. But overall, it seems that Google spiders the web every 30 days.

Yes,
Google dance is the fluctuation of ranking due to the index update of different data centers of google.

google updating back links everyday now,Because of that reason SERP changing everyday. It is big google algorithm update.

yes indeed!and because of this we need to double our effort in SEO and always guarded our kws for it has a possibility to flactuate .

Google changes its algorithm without telling anyone. And nobody knows when they update their algo. because its a well kept secrets that only Google People knows it.

The best thing for us to do is to feel what is happening, as you've said there could be a major ranking change etc.
