Title length: 63 Characters including space.
Description: 124 Characters including space.

Google will not show the rest.
Making long tail title and description have no impact on SERPs but search engines will simply ignore rest by showing them in search results.

I recommend you write a meta tag description about 250 words long and use the extra words to beef up your message and improve your click through rate.
