    Default Blog Question

Quick question I have seen this answered before but just cannot remember which was best and why!
    • With your blog, is it best to set up the function where the blog entries only show part of the "article" and then have link to read the rest of the story?
    • What is happening behind the scenes to make this be the better way to set it up?
    Many thanks!

well personally I think you're lucky if google finds/indexes your blog already.
adding a link to the whole post would just complicate things. Google doesn't go through all link you have on your site.
on the other hand, the anchor text to the whole post gives more accurate search results...
but I would stick to the first solution

My preference to answer your first question is to show the entire article and publish new posts all the time. I think it's the class blog look and I strongly prefer it over the "article" highlight and link option.

Default Ain't no luck baby, this is all skill.

For one, luck has nothing to do with it being indexed already. I have a site getting about 20 people a day from Google and its been up for only a few weeks (I'm just that Good).

I would recommend publishing the full article with a link to a page where they can see it again, but this time add comments. Also, if you can implement Mod Rewrite and make the urls appear to be static instead of dynamic, that will also help considerably.
