Is it worth it
I have heard that G is penalizing now, same as they are no longer giving weight to recip links??

I don't think it's being penalized, I'm not sure how much weight they give because they will pretty much link to anyone who requests it. But I do think Google uses DMOZ to help know what your web site content is about, I beleieve the same is true for meta keywords, so you should do it.

Maybe DMOZ links count towards the ranking of a site in Google.
But in my opinion you should just think of DMOZ as a quality directory listing quality sites and having a high PR...don't expect anything more than that. Else you might be disappointedFort Bonifacio Apartments

I show that DMOZ has a page rank of 8 right now. I submitted my site seven months ago and I'm still not in either.
