    Default No follow?

I am curious of these no follow and do follow blogs/site. If it happens that your site is a no follow does it mean that it will not be able to reach the number one page in the searches and vice versa?

    Cheers!!!

Having all no-follow links pointing to your web site will likely not get you in a great position to rank well. Just as having 100% do-follow links might look a little bit odd. Just write good content and try to build relevant links while providing value (ie if you're a real estate agent, offer expert insight on a real estate related blog, not a pay day loan forum) and don't worry so much about whether a link is no-follow or not.

People have termed links without the parameter (rel="nofollow") as dofollow. This is when you allow search engines to pass on the link juice of the website. One thing that most SEO are after nowadays, not knowing that it is not the only factor for getting top positions on search engines. (at some point, the number of dofollow links with respect to nofollow links can be one of the reasons why your site wouldn't rank)

Especially nofollow links are used to prevent indexing process and passing reputation by Google crawler and nofollow links are only an easiest way to prevent. In HTML code nofollow is represented on meta tag as rel="nofollow"

To be on a safe site one should maintain a ratio of dofollow and nofollow links, so that it'll look natural to bots. Plus have a good content and working on link bait is the key of getting dofollow links from quality blogs/sites.
