Default Best tool for simple competitor research

Hi guys I am starting a small business SEO program and I have been looking into using a tool to do a simple analysis of a client's competitors.

Basically I want to do a one-off analysis at the start of the program to see what high PR links their competitors have. I know of a few tools but I don't know which one is the best for producing a really simple list of inlinks in order of PR (all juice passing).

I've seen a tool on the WSO forum which shows the data from Google but I'm guessing this data is pretty limited. I think Market Samurai does it but I believe it doesn't discern between follow and no follow links. I have tried SEO Spyglass but it seems clunky and inconsistent.

I know SEO Moz does it but it's $100 / month which is too much for me.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Well if you are looking to see what links to them, then use touchgraph. if you are looking to see their traffic, then use compete, if you are looking to see a general summary of it, use website grader or blog grader, if you want to look deeper, then use tools that you would use on your own site to check the SEO as pects of it. of course not tools that requires verification such as analytics or webmaster tools but tools such as PR, cached, w3c, etc.
